Biography

Equestrian rider Kai Rüder qualified for the individual event at the 2000 Sydney Olympics but could not finish the tournament. In 1992 at Barcelona, he was also on the team but only as a substitute. In 2011, he won a silver medal at the German nationals. Later he became a horse trainer and horse manager by profession at the family’s riding facility.
