Biography

Josef Loidl was an Austrian alpine skier starting at the 1972 Sapporo Winter Olympics. He finished ninth as his best result in the downhill event. His best result in a FIS race was the fourth place in a giant slalom at Adelboden in 1971. Nationally, Loidl won three Austrian titles; 1970 in downhill and 1970 and 1972 in the combination.
