Biography

Dutch graphic artist Anton Versluijs was a glass artist, stained-glass artist, painter, draftsman, mosaic artist, and wall painter. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Den Haag and later in Rotterdam. Versluijs created portraits, figure and animal paintings, landscapes and still lifes. In May 1940, his studio burned down. His entry The Throw is a woodcut from 1919.
