The Official Report lists 450 paintings, drawings and graphic works, but those details do not match with the Art Exhibition catalog. There were 49 artists from 12 countries in the paintings category.

British graphic artist William Nicholson earned the gold medal for his graphic series Twelve Branches of Sport Carved in Wood. The colored woodcuts of the 12 sports (more or less pleasure activities) are provided with a verse by Rudyard Kipling. Sports, however, should be probably better translated in this case, with pleasure, pastime, or hobbies. The woodcuts show in all cases amusements of fine English society at the turn of the century.

Swiss poster artist Carl Moos earned the silver medal for his Posters. These posters were produced for several Swiss and international competitions, such as the 1928 Winter Games in St. Moritz. He had submitted five posters, of which two were shown in the official catalogue. The prize was awarded for his poster Athletics Poster.

Max Feldbauer, a German graphic artist, received the bronze medal for his work Postwagen (Stage-coach), a work which cannot be confirmed either.
