Biography

Tom Hoff was a middle blocker who played volleyball for the USA at the 2000, 2004, and 2008 Olympic Games. Hoff played in college at The Ohio State University for two years, and then transferred to Cal State Long Beach, where he graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering.

After college Hoff played professionally overseas, with Iraklis Thessaloniki VC in Greece from 2001-03 and 2004-06, with VC Lokomotiv-Belogorie from 2006-07, and with the Russian club Fakel Novy Urengou in 2007-08, then back in Greece he finished his career with Olympiakos SC in 2008-09. In Greece Hoff won the Greek Cup in 2006 with Iraklis Thessaloniki and in 2009 with Olympiakos. He was named the MVP of the 2002 Greek Cup competition. Hoff also played on the Bud Light Pro Beach Volleyball tour.
