Biography

George Roumain was a volleyball player who competed at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. He played in college at Pepperdine University, where he was a three-time All-American, and led the Waves to a runner-up finish at the 1998 NCAA Championship. He was AVCA National Player of the Year in 1998 and 1999. He graduated in 1999 with an advertising degree and was inducted into the Pepperdine University Hall of Fame in 2008.

Roumain was on the US National Team from 1999-2001. He then moved to the beach where in 2004 he was named AVP Rookie of the Year after winning the Huntington Beach Open with his partner Jason Ring. He also worked as a strength and conditioning coach at Wellness One in California and gave private volleyball lessions.

From 2011-15 Roumain sold fitness products for Beachbody as an account executive. He then became COO of InterMedia Advertising in Woodland Hills, California, and formed his own consulting firm, Roumain Consulting. He also worked as a director of marketing with Anthem Tax Services and the director of business development at SuperMoney in Santa Ana, California.
