Biography

Alpine skier Gerhard Prinzing finished seventh in the 1968 Grenoble downhill event. That same year he earned his only national title in Alpine combined, although he claimed seven second places. Prinzing later ran a ski school in Kranzegg and operated the local ski lifts. His sister Christa, a non-Olympian, was also a nationally successful Alpine skier.
