Biography

During the 1990s Antonio Rački represented Croatia in cross-country skiing. Rački was 18-years-old when he competed at the 1994 Lillehammer Olympics where he started in four events. His best performance came in the 50 kilometres, with him finishing 52nd. Four years later he returned to the Olympics for the 1998 Nagano Games, competing in just the 10 kilometres event. Rački ended his skiing career shortly afterwards at the age of 23. He died in February 2024 in a road accident when his car collided with another vehicle in a tunnel in Rijeka.
