Oldřich Svoboda was a netminder whose career lasted from 1983-2004, and who played for a plethora of clubs. His itinerant movements are almost too numerous to follow. In Czechoslovakia he started with Stadion Hradec Králové, and then played for HC Dukla Jihlava, Tesla Pardubice, HC Vítkovice, HC České Budějovice, HC Znojemšti Orli, and HC Bílí Tygři Liberec. But Svoboda played in several European countries, playing with TPS Turku, Hockey-Reipas Lahti, and Kokkolan Hermes in Finland; EHC Essen Moskitos in Germany; and Molot-Prikamye Perm in Russia.
