Biography

Nils Svärd was a Swedish cross-country skier. Svärd won the bronze medal in the 18 kilometres at the 1931 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships. Svärd competed in the 18 kilometres at the 1932 Lake Placid Olympics. He finished in 10th place. Svärd was also scheduled to compete in the 50 kilometres but he did not start the race.
