A Slovakian forward who was born in Košice, Peter Veselovský started his career with the hometown club, VSZ Košice, playing with them from 1989-94 and 1995-96, with a year in between with HC Škoda Plzeň. He then played in Slovakia with HK 32 Liptovský Mikulás in 1997-98, HC Caen in France in 1998-99, then was in Hungary for two seasons with Dunaferr SE Dunaújváros, before finishing his career in Slovakia, playing with both HK 36 Skalica and HK Spišska Nová Ves, before retiring in 2003. He appeared for Czechoslovakia in international tournaments only in 1992, playing that year at both the Winter Olympics, where he won a bronze medal, and at the World Championships, also winning a bronze medal.
