West German flatwater canoeist Judith Skolnik finished fifth with the K-4 500 team at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. From 1983-84 and in 1986 Skolnik won national titles in the K-2 500, partnering non-Olympian Jutta Kuhlmann, and from 1984-85 also won the K-4 500. Her home club was KG Wanderfalke Essen.
