Biography

Christian Breuer was a German middle-distance speed skater who performed at the 1998 Nagano and 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. He finished ninth over 1,500 metres in 1998 as his best result. Domestically, he won 15 German national titles and set 16 German records. From 2004-11 Breuer was the athletes’ spokesman within the German Speed Skating Association. By profession, he became a police commissioner and sports coordinator at the Federal Police Sports School in Bad Endorf.

Personal Bests: 500 – 35.57 (2002); 1000 – 1:09.48 (2006); 1500 – 1:45.49 (2006); 5000 – 6:35.22 (1999); 10000 – 14:01.80 (1999).
