Skeleton at the 2006 Winter Olympics

Dates 16 – 17 February 2006
Medal Events 2

For the first time, skeleton was held for two consecutive Olympics, and both the men’s and women’s events were held in the same format as in 2002. Like luge, skeleton attracted some competitors from countries not known for their winter athletes, including Bermuda’s Patrick Singleton (a former luger), U.S. citizen Patrick Antaki, competing for Lebanon, and Tyler Botha, sledding for South Africa.
