Equestrian Eventing at the 1924 Summer Olympics

Individual and team eventing was contested at the 1924 Paris Olympics. Adolf van der Voort van Zijp won the individual title and led the Netherlands to the team gold medal. For the first time the eventing was held in the modern format of dressage, an endurance ride, and show jumping. Dressage and jumping were held at the main Olympic Stadium, Stade Olympique de Colombes. The three-day event endurance phase was held in Villacoublay and at the Hippodrome d’Auteuil in Paris.

The eventing competitions were restricted to men and military officers, as they would be through 1960. This was the first Olympic competition in equestrianism after the formation of the Fédération Équestre Internationale (FEI), which was founded in 1921 at a meeting in Lausanne, Switzerland.
