Dressage at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics was held over two days in Hilversum, 30 km southeast of Amsterdam, both in the Sportpark there and in the fields surrounding it. A team and individual event were held concurrently. The competitions were restricted to men and military officers, as they would be through 1948. The individual dressage was won by Carl-Friedrich Freiherr von Langen, who also led Germany to the team gold medal.
