Description

The Organización Deportiva Centroamericana y del Caribe (ODECABE) is a confederation of National Olympic Committees (NOCs) of the Central American and Caribbean region. It is the oldest association of NOCs, having been founded on 4 July 1924 as the Central American and Caribbean Sports Association (CACSO). They contest the Central American and Caribbean Games, which are the oldest Regional International Games, having first been held in 1926. 31 NOCs are currently affiliated to the organisation. The Netherlands Antilles have been the 32nd member, but they are not eligible to compete anymore after 2010. Its headquarter is in Mexico City and its current president is Steve Stoute of Barbados.
