There were 16 different automobile contests at the 1900 Paris Exposition. This event, for heavy trucks with a minimum carrying capacity of 1,250 kg, took place over five days, from 8-13 October save the 11th, with 150 km covered each day and 34.35 km on the track at Lac Daumesnil each day. The names of the prize winners were often the names of the car manufacturer for the automobile reliability contests. Of 13 entered trucks, 12 competed, with only 8 completing the event.
