Biography

German figure skater Mirko Müller partnered Peggy Schwarz at the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics and finished ninth in the pairs event. The duo also participated in four World Championships and four European Championships, winning the bronze medal at the 1998 Worlds as their best result. Müller also partnered three non-Olympians. Russia’s Yekaterina Silnitskaya (1994-95), France’s Emilie Gras (1995-96), and fellow German Sarah Jentgens, from 2000.

From 1998-2000 Müller and Schwarz won the German Championship, and Müller won this title again in 2002 with Jentgens. He later married his choreographer Diana Goolsbey and moved to the Unites States, working as a figure skating coach.
