Biography

French football midfielder and striker Paul Carrier began his career with FC Grenoble in 1951, playing 33 matches for the side and scoring 11 goals. Carrier then spent two seasons with Nîmes Olympique before returning to Grenoble in 1954. Over the next six years he played in more than 200 matches for the club, which saw them win the French Division 2 title in the 1959–60 season. He finished his career with US Forbach where he played in 63 matches until his retirement in 1962. Early in his career Carrier was named in the French squad for the football tournament at the 1952 Helsinki Olympics but he did not play in any matches.
