Biography

Georges Berthet won a bronze medal in the military patrol event at the 1924 Olympic Winter Games in Chamonix. Competing for Skieurs Rousselands, Berthet was 1923 French Champion in Nordic combined. He later became President of the Ski Club du Massif Jurassien, and in 1978 was responsible for creating the Transjurassienne Games, but died before their first edition in 1980.
