Biography

Brian Welch was a ski jumper who competed at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. Although he grew up in Scarborough, Maine, Welch started ski jumping at Gunstock and the Lebanon Outing Club in New Hampshire. He later trained at the Lake Placid National Training Centre and made the team for the 2002 World Junior Championships. Welch was the 2005 summer SuperTour Champion, after finishing fourth in 2004.
