Biography

Jeff Greenwood was a snowboarder who competed in parallel giant slalom at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. He was the 1996 World Champion in giant slalom, and won gold medals at the 1995 Winter University Games in giant slalom and slalom.

Greenwood started as a recreational skier until he tried snowboarding at age 12 at Vermont’s Stratton Mountain. He enrolled at Vermont’s Carrabassett Valley Academy where he developed under high-level coaching. He was known for his love of cappuccino, often partaking in between snowboard runs.
