Biography

Angie Wester-Krieg swam in college for San José State University, graduating in 1986. She was primarily a butterfly swimmer, winning the 100 and 200 fly National titles in 1992 and swimming on the 1995 4x200 free relay national champions. Wester-Krieg competed at two Pan American Games, winning gold in 1991 in the medley relay, and adding silvers that year in both butterfly events. She returned in 1995 to win a bronze in the 100 fly at the Pan Ams. Wester-Krieg later became a tax accountant.
