Biography

Vladimir Bobreshov had the following podium finishes at the Flatwater World Championships: 1st 1987 K4 10000 m (with Artūras Vieta and the non-Olympians Aleksandr Myzgin and Sergey Superata), 1st 1990 K4 10000 m (with Artūras Vieta, Dmitry Bankovsky, and the non-Olympian Aleksandr Myzgin), 2nd 1989 K2 1000 m (with Artūras Vieta), 2nd 1990 K2 1000 m (with Artūras Vieta), 3rd 1993 K4 10000 m (with Artūras Vieta, Georgy Tsybulnikov, and Sergey Galkov). In 1993 Bobreshov competed for Russia.
