Pavle Jovanovic competed in both bobsled competitions at the 2006 Torino Winter Olympics, placing seventh in both events, but Jovanovic won a bronze medal in four-man at the 2004 World Championships. Jovanovic attended Toms River High School in New Jersey, where he was a star football player and became an Eagle Scout. He also played football at Rutgers University, where he studied civil engineering. Jovanovic became a welder and was a certified master accredited metallurgist. Sadly, in May 2020 he took his own life.
