Biography

Angus Morrison was a versatile canoeist who competed in slalom events at the 1972 Olympics and in flatwater in 1976. Morrison was from Minnesota, competing for the Minnesota Canoe Association, and attended Williams College, graduating in 1975. He was US Champion in C-1 whitewater in 1977-78, 1983, and 1985. He later worked as a whitewater guide in the mountains of North Carolina with Nantahala Guided Trips.
