Elliot Weintrob was a slalom paddler who competed in C-2 at the Barcelona Olympics with Marty McCormick. Weintrob attended the University of Maryland. He later attended classes in prosthetic and orthotics at Northwestern Medical School. He became a certified prosthetist / orthotist and opened the Orthotic Prosthetic Center in Fairfax, Virginia. After his paddling career ended Weintrob became a triathlete, competing in the 2003 Ironman.
