Biography

Borbor Gaye played international football for Liberia from 1965 to 1975, which also included a spell as the team’s captain. After his playing career Gaye moved into sports administration and served as the deputy minister for administration at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and as the President of the National Olympic Committee of Liberia. At the time of his death he was living in Chicago, with his body returned home to Monrovia for his funeral.
