Biography

Wiesław Hartman was a silver medalist in equestrian team jumping at the 1980 Moskva Olympics. He also placed sixth individually, a placement he duplicated at the 1981 Aachen Grand Prix. Hartman competed for JLKS Nadwiślanin from 1967, and then Aviator Warszawa, Legia Stara Miłosna, Torbud Brzeg, and Halex Lipnik. He placed second in jumping at the Polish nationals in 1976, 1978, and 1980 and was third in 1983 and 1986. He also competed in Nations Cup events 29 times between 1975-81.
