Argentine road cyclist Héctor Cassina was active during the late 1960s and early 1970s. In 1968 Cassina was selected to compete in the road race at the Mexico City Olympics but he did not finish the course. He had better success back home when he won the 1971 edition of the Vuelta a Cordoba. Cassina was only 41-years-old when he died in September 1985.
