Biography

Luvsangiin Erkhemjamts was a Mongolian cyclist who was active during the mid-1960s. In 1964 Erkhemjamts was selected to compete at the Tokyo Olympics, where he placed 85th in the road race. Despite his low placement in the overall rankings, he was only 0.2 seconds behind the race winner, finishing in the main peloton of riders. At the Games he also finished 23rd in the team time trial with his compatriots. After the Olympics he competed in races in Europe, including two editions of the Peace Race.
