Biography

Oswald Miller was a Polish cyclist who represented the Union Sports Association in Łódź during the first half of the 1920s. Miller was successful on both the road and track, winning multiple championships in the Łódź district, in addition to finishing second in the track sprint at the 1922 Polish championships. In 1924 he competed at the Paris Olympics, finishing 48th in the individual road race, almost 90 minutes behind the winning time. One year later he won bronze in the road race at the national championships.

Miller was of German descent and became a citizen of the Third Reich during the occupation, with his surname becoming Müller. He was conscripted into the Wehrmacht and fought in World War II. Due to his common surname, incomplete date of birth, and lack of information about his parents, it is unknown if Miller survived the war.
