Vernon Stauble

Vernon Stauble began his cycling career when he was quite young, eventually representing the Trinidad and Tobago national team at international competitions. In 1968 Stauble placed 19th in the individual pursuit in the velodrome at the Mexico City Olympics. Two years later he won bronze in the 10 miles scratch at the British Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh, Scotland. Stauble made his second appearance at the Olympics in 1972, this time riding on both the road and track at the München Games.

Stauble later moved to the United States, where he studied business administration at the University of California, Riverside, and Claremont Graduate University. He later became a senior lecturer at the University of Redlands, also in California, publishing multiple articles and books on marketing strategies.
