Michael Stoute

Michael Stoute had a brief career as a cyclist, which saw him represent Barbados at international events. In 1966 Stoute was selected to compete in the road race at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston, Jamaica. Two years later Barbados competed at the Olympics as an independent country the first time, sending a delegation of nine athletes to the Mexico City Games. Stoute was one of four cyclists from the island nation to compete in the road race, but he did not finish the course.
