Biography

José Torres was representing the cycling club Libertad when he finished third in the national qualifier behind Alberto Downey and Cárlos Koller. At the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm, he placed 74th in the individual road time trial and ninth with the team. After his return to Chile, he placed fourth in a cycling race to Colina and back, organised by his club.
