Biography

Hubert Dutech was a horseman who participated at the 1900 Paris Olympics in the high jump and the show jumping event, riding Touch Me Not, a chestnut mare that he owned. A career military man, who was a captain with the 17th Chasseurs, he was made an officer of the Legion d’Honneur and, after being killed in World War I, was awarded the Croix de Guerre with palm.
