Biography

Maurice Van Den Bemden played two sports at the 1920 Olympics. He played singles and doubles in tennis, with little distinction, but Van Den Bemden won a bronze medal with the Belgian hockey (field) team. He was not well known as a tennis player, although he did play in the 1922-23 World Hard Court Championships, making the quarter-finals in 1922.
