Biography

Percival Wise became a group captain in H. M. Services. Prior to World War I he served in the Indian Army as a regular officer and later served the same role in World War II. Wise was born in Hong Kong and his father was Chief Justice of Hong Kong, at that time a British colony.

A member of the Polo Pony Society, Wise was a 9-goal handicap whose victories included the Hurlingham Champion Cup with Hurricanes in 1926, 1927, and 1930, the Roehampton Open, and the Ranelagh Open, Coronation, Buenos Aires, Empire, and Public Schools Cups.
