Herbert also played hockey and cricket for Coventry and North Warwickshire whilst Frank played rugby for Blackheath and the Midlands and was a fine Warwickshire County cricketer. A member of the Moseley Wanderers team at the 1900 Paris Olympics Herbert Loveitt was, like fellow-team mate Claud Whittindale, a Warwickshire auctioneer and was a partner in his father’s business George Loveitt and Sons.
