Biography

Malaysian field hockey player Kevin Nunis represented the national team from 1978 to 1989, which saw him compete at multiple international competitions. In 1982 Nunis was part of the team that won bronze at the Asian Games in New Delhi. Two years later he played in all seven matches for the team at the Los Angeles Olympics, before returning to the Asian Games in Seongnam, South Korea. He also played at three editions of the Southeast Asian Games during the 1980s. Nunis retired from the sport in 1989, later working as a coach for Malaysian state teams and the assistant coach to the national junior side. In 2021 he served as the head coach of the National Hockey Development Programme.
