Hans Wagener was a Dutch field hockey player who was a national champion in the sport in 1962. Wagner represented the Netherlands hockey team in 43 international matches, including at the 1960 Roma Olympics. He retired from the sport in 1963. His uncle Joop coached the Dutch team at the 1928 Amsterdam and 1936 Berlin Olympics, with the team winning silver and bronze, respectively.
