Biography

Arthur Parkin played hockey for New Zealand at three Olympic Games in 1972, 1976, and 1984, winning gold in 1976. In 2018 Parkin went on trial at the Auckland District Court, facing charges of indecent acts towards young girls. The offences allegedly took place between 1975 and 1983. He was found guilty and sentenced to 20 months in prison for indecent assault.
