Aleksandr Domashev was a Russian field hockey player who represented Spartak Moskva. Domashev was part of the Soviet Union’s team for the tournament at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. He only played in their classification match against Pakistan, which they lost 1–0 to finish seventh. He then competed at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, this time representing the Unified Team. Domashev played in three matches at the Barcelona Games, sharing goalkeeping duties with Vladimir Pleshakov. After his competitive career he became a coach, which included working as the head coach for the Russian men’s team.
