Fencer Grete Kunz was Austrian champion in individual foil (1951) and in team foil (1959). She was selected for the 1952 Helsinki Olympics, although she was already 44-years-of-age. At the Games, Kunz reached the semi-finals but did not manage to progress to the final pool.
