Biography

Suzie Paxton fenced at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics after fencing in college at Penn State. She helped the Nittany Lions win NCAA titles in 1990 and 1991, and won an NCAA individual bronze medal in 1992. She competed at the 1993 and 1995 World Championships and the Universiade both years. At the US Olympic Festivals, Paxton won two individual gold medals in 1994 and 1995, and was on gold medal teams in 1991 and 1994.

After her fencing career ended, Paxton moved into media, working as a producer for both ABC News and NBC Sports in the 2000s. She started her television career as a producer for the YES Network. From 2010-14 she was a senior media producer with Newsweek and The Daily Beast. Paxton left the corporate media world to start her own company, Point Studio, a video and television production company where she served as the principal owner and executive producer.
