Biography

Willem Molijn lived and worked in Utrecht where he was the owner of a tea trading company. In 1907 he married his Swedish wife Fanny Esther Olena (née Petterson) in Stockholm. The couple had five children, three sons and two daughters. At the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm, he competed in the individual épée tournament but lost all of his five bouts in the first round and was eliminated.
