Biography

Tom Losonczy was a Hungarian-American who competed for the New York Athletic Club and Columbia University. His top finishes at national meets were first at the 1976 AFLA (Amateur Fencers League of America) Championship, second at the 1973 AFLAs, second at the 1974 NCAAs, and third at the 1974 NCAAs. Losonczy competed at the 1975 Pan American Games, winning a silver medal in team sabre. He later worked in the hospitality industry, with the InterContinental Hotels Group.
