Biography

Frederico Rodrigues de Oliveira, better known as Fred, was a Brazilian footballer. From 1970 to 1975, Fred played in 108 matches for Flamengo, winning the Campeonato Carioca (the Rio State Championship) in 1972 and 1974. As well as playing for several other domestic teams in Brazil, Fred also played for clubs in Peru, Colombia, Honduras and Portugal. Fred was part of the Brazilian squad that played in the football tournament at the 1972 München Olympics.
