Biography

Marcel Loncle began his junior football career with US Saint-Malo, but joined Angers SCO upon advancing to the senior level in 1956. He remained with them through 1962, save for a brief stint with US Saint-Melo during the 1959-1960 season, and then joined Stade Rennais FC, where he stayed through 1966. During that time, he won the Coupe de France in 1965. He returned to US Saint-Melo until 1969, and then spent the rest of his career up through his 1972 retirement with ASJC Paramé. Internationally, he represented France at the 1960 Rome Olympics, where France was eliminated in the preliminary round.
